This solar powered water quality NO3 sensor has truly achieved a breakthrough upgrade of "no power supply, no wiring, and long-term monitoring". It integrates efficient photovoltaic power supply modules and high-sensitivity nitrate ion detection technology, providing an all-weather, zero electricity, and low maintenance online solution for nitrate in water quality for aquaculture, aquarium viewing, agricultural non-point source pollution monitoring, and river and lake ecological investigation. No need to replace the battery, no need to connect to the mains power, only sunlight or scattered light is needed for sustainable operation, completely bidding farewell to the traditional sensor's frequent battery replacement or difficulty in obtaining electricity in the field.
1. Green energy, ultra long battery life. Equipped with a built-in 3400mAh lithium battery and solar float charging, the battery life is ≥ 3 years under the default 30 minute reporting cycle. Please note that ion sensors have high power consumption and it is not recommended to set a too short reporting cycle. After the first use or complete power outage, the power supply needs to be activated through the TYPE-C interface.
2. High precision monitoring, stable and reliable. The nitrate measurement range is 0~100.0 mg/L or 0~1000.0 mg/L (default 0~100 mg/L), with an accuracy of ± 5% or ± 2 mg/L of the reading (whichever is greater), and a resolution of 0.1 mg/L. Built in temperature compensation (0-40 ℃) ensures data stability in both freshwater and seawater scenarios. The service life of the electrode is about 1-2 years. If it is not used for a long time, it should be stored dry and covered with a protective cap.
3. Flexible installation and intelligent operation and maintenance. The sensor probe needs to be installed at an angle of ≥ 15 ° and cannot be inverted or placed horizontally. Remote restart, modification of reporting cycle, and zero/slope/temperature calibration can be performed through LoRaWAN downlink commands (standard solution needs to be prepared). Support OTAA network access, data is reported in Modbus hexadecimal format (starting byte C0, sensor type 11), and after parsing, NO ∝⁻ (mg/L), temperature (℃), and voltage (V) can be obtained.
4. Anti interference design, widely applicable. The manual provides a detailed list of interfering ions (such as ClO ₄⁻, I ⁻, NO ₂⁻, etc.) to help users assess data reliability in complex water quality. Before use, the electrode needs to be soaked in tap water for 24 hours to activate and cleaned regularly; If there is an error that cannot be calibrated, please replace the electrode in a timely manner.
